Piper APache “geronimo”
Our 1959 Piper Apache PA-23-180 aircraft, N4064P, is the “Geronimo” conversion. This upgrade equips the aircraft with twin 180 HP engines and multiple aerodynamic improvements providing better single engine performance and an improved safety margin for training without being overwhelming for students. The aircraft has been meticulously maintained, ensuring optimal performance and safety. It has always been hangared, which has significantly contributed to the longevity of its components and protects the airframe from environmental wear.

Engine: Twin Lycoming O-360-A1D, 360 HP offering excellent single engine training performance and improved safety on high density altitude days.
Avionics: Dual Garmin G5 MFDs and a Garmin GNS-430 backed up with high quality analog gauges provide an excellent next step in training.

Piper Cherokee 180
Our 1966 Piper Cherokee PA-28 180 aircraft, N9356J, is equipped with a 180 HP engine—40 more horsepower than the standard Cherokee models. This upgrade provides improved climb performance and greater versatility for a variety of flight conditions. As with all our aircraft, 56J is always hangared maintained at the highest level to ensure student safety and performance,

Engine: Lycoming O-360-A4A, 180 HP, offering superior climb rate and cruise performance.
Avionics: Equipped with a Garmin GNS-430 and high quality King-Bendix analog gauges, our philosophy is that these are best to learn on for primary training then move up to a glass cockpit for advanced training.

Cessna 150-E
Our 1965 Cessna 150E, N3583J, is equipped with a Continental O-200 engine and standard “6 pack” instruments. This makes this aircraft ideal for initial instruction for Light-Sport, Recreational, and Private Pilot training as well as solo time building for Commercial Pilot students looking for an economical way to get to 250 hours. The high wing orientation also provides some different experience for students who started in our Cherokee and want to expand their horizons. The two seat interior layout, makes this aircraft a true trainer, most suitable for a single pilot, or a student and instructor.
